You don't need to remove anything. You just have to start off centering the laminix onto the center of the fog light and work it to the edges. I used a heat gun to make the laminix softer.

Exactly. I just did this yesterday. FWIW, I tried the "wet method" from the instructions on the first light, and it was a PITA. For the second one i just left it dry, and it took about 15 seconds and came out perfectly.

Ditto on not removing anything for application. I put them on my 2016 about a month ago. You just have to be careful in starting the application. I was pleased enough that I just purchased some for the wife's 2008 Lexus.

Honestly I have had Laminix and other similar products on my vehicles and I have found that over time the fogs get so hot that it develops a burn spot in the center and I have also found that many times these products dry out over time and get foggy so the lights are not at full brightness. IMO don't put anything on the lights. If they break just replace.

They need to be periodically (about every 3-6 months) . treated with Lamin-X sealant /protectant.
