I need assistance about some new rear bump stops

So i had my bump stops removed to fit some airbags in my rear coils a year ago, and now that i have gone another route with my rear suspension option, i realized that I cannot locate where my bump stops are in my garage.

I went to 4 wheel parts and asked them if I need to install them or would it be fine without them, had two guys from that shop look under there and say i dont need them at all. Well, after a couple nights of rest i decided i want those bump stops back in there as i do go off-roading fairly often and wouldnt mind the stops in there so my coils don't over-compress.

My issue at this point is what to buy? Toyota quoted me $92 for a pair of rear bump stops, but i've seen many cheaper options online, but not sure what exactly to buy. I've seen "bump stop kits" that range from $15 - $230 .... this is where i get confused. I was thinking i could get a pair for around $45, however, the more i'm researching online the more confused i keep getting.

I'm hoping someone here can suggest a brand, or link me something? I need a little more confidence before i make this decision and the guys at 4 wheel parts just didn't seem competent enough for me.

They keep your shocks from bottoming out as well. Without them you could damage both rear shocks.
I see them online at Camelback Toyota for 38.00+ S&H (they are OEM)

Are you sure you are talking about bump stops...?

The actual bump stop is on the frame and would rarely ever be removed. You need those for sure to protect the shocks....

My guess is you are talking about the hollow spring that sit inside the coil. Since those are typically cut with air bags. I think you would be OK without those in normal form... Although, not ideal if you hit something at speed and bottom out hard. Normal trail use... I'm guessing no issue.

I think you're referring to the spring dampeners, which kind of act like bump stops; but are more for helping smooth out the travel as the suspension compresses. There's the actual bumpstops which are located above the axle on the frame.

i'm definitely sure my bump stops were removed, i had them in a small box before i lost them during the move. they may have also contained the dampeners too? not sure, i remember my mechanic removing them, now my current issue is finding the bump stops that Saker recommended, i cant find them anywhere online?
