I was actually running out of gas coming up the hill to the gas station. I'm having some severe fuel mileage issues... I only got 451 kilometers to 87 litres of fuel. And most of that was highway driving.

I've never done the math but if this thing reads 1-2 mpg high like most people say...yikes.... this is pulling my 3k lb boat though. Nice win over the US last night anyway. :canada:

Filter is clean, MAF and throttle body cleaned recently, filter is good. Thinking it's O2s and the truck may not like the iridium laser TT plugs I put in.

Basically $75 USD. But yes, fuel is expensive when you're on an island in the Pacific ocean!

Eh, there's been a couple members who have filled their gas tanks to the filler neck opening... so I'm not sure how you beat that. But I'm surprised the 4Runner even ran below 22gal of fuel

Yup, that's exactly what I was getting before I did a whole bunch of crap. Even guys that are running bigger tires and more armour than me are getting better fuel mileage.

Holy crap. I don't know what's worse, the fact that you're getting single-digit MPGs, or the fact that you're comfortable driving your truck at 90mph / 145 km/h. I mean, I've had my truck up there... but not a cruising speed!

I get about 16mpg cruising at 85 mph, but mine is all stock. It drives great at 85 mph on the long flat empty highways in Wyoming. The speed limit is 80 mph for parts of it.

It does great at speed. Never an issue. I've been up to 110, but my tires are only rated for 100 so I keep it under that.
At 70 or under my mpg are significantly better. I average 13-14mpg with mixed driving. Need gears to get better. And a new O2 sensor...

12mpg? Sounds normal for a v8. Exactly what I get on a day to day basis with street driving
