All that work and still IFS, you would think if they did that much to increase the departure angle on a 3rd gen, they would do a SAS and push the front end out also....

We're after as much blood as you guys cconsidering last years miserable season. Both teams got what they needed.....new head coaches, although ya'lls situation was a little different.

I did think it would have to be higher, but figured with that much fab work maybe they did a driveline lift or something to get it out of the way a little.

FWIW, are there ANY trucks that run leafs on the front anymore? Is it really that functional on a front end? Steering solutions?

Definitely still used! It's normally the cheaper and less technical way to go about a SAS. Depending on the set up leaf springs have pretty good travel. They are not very good for hauling ass though.
