I put a Dynomax Superturbo in place of stock. Retains the stock look with a little growl and is just right for me. K+N filter and all is well.

get a bigger exhaust, 20'' magnaflow or flowmaster 50 or 60. I think the 50 is marketed as flowmaster's "suv" exhaust. my magnaflow really drones around 1300-1400 rpms. once i get up to cruising speed the drone goes away.

$110, installed. No drone. +42.50 from summit racing for the filter. Remember, this doesn't change the look, just the sound of the truck. Your buddies will know what you did, but the kids can still sleep when you pass someone, and the wife won't bitch about the drone!

if you want a loud truck then i highly reccommend the flowmaster origional 40 series, side affects however are mild to moderate and may include some or all of the following, passengers may complain of inner ear pain and neighbors may develop slight irritation. also there has been one occurrence of a disrupted car alarm in my school parking lot.

I don't know if you guys know this but the OEM exhaust is stainless steel, very high quality. You need to make sure your not replacing it with an inferior product.

thats true. check to make sure they make good clean looking welds also. i dont know a whole lot about welding, but some of the welds they made look like crap and is starting to rust too.

I am looking at getting Magna Flow exhaust. Does anyone know the diameter of the stock exhaust pipe? Would I still see improvement in gas if I just replace the exhuast instead of all the pipes?

I've never replaced an exhaust on my vehicles, so I want to know what to look out for.
