Was it a forum member? A 16yr old that will trash it? I miss that thing like crazy, wish I never traded in for that stupid F150 (that i dumped for another TE 2 months later).

Anyway, It'd be cool to know it wound up in good hands.

I'm the same way with the FJ I traded in for the 4Runner. Don't really miss the fj yet, love the 4Runner.

Not sure if this was yours, however I bought a 2010 Silver TE from Hendersonville North Carolina, 2 years ago. I've taken a few trips to N.C. as well as drove it to Ouray, Co. and spent two weeks there. I love it and it's well cared for

Google the VIN(assuming you still have it). It could be for sale on a lot somewhere. A lot of times the VIN shows up with other info about vehicles for sale at new/used car car lots.

It's a long shot, but worth a try.

Funny story....but not too much help to you.

The best vehicle I have ever owned and wish I had it back today was my 1982 Bronco, manual 4WD lever, four speed with granny gear BW T18 transmission, LS axle. I traded it in on a 1988 Bronco II, big mistake....

I was riding through Baton Rouge back in 2000 and I looked over in the next lane on I-10 and there was my truck, black painted bumpers with the mounts I installed to tie down my canoe. I followed him off the interstate to a gas station and told him this was my old truck, we both laughed and I said to call me as I wanted it back, never heard from him.
