ICON SEMA product.. what is it?

Does anyone know what this is? it looks like a shock-bumpstop to prevent an upper control arms from crashing into the body...

Yep, it is an air (or hydro?) bump. Softens the blow when you bottom out the suspension. I talked to someone at Icon 2 days ago and they'll be offering bump systems for the front and rear of our trucks.

Also, Icon will be offering a secondary front shock setup that will include a Lower Control Arm skid with a secondary lower shock mount, as well as a bolt-on shock hoop for a secondary upper shock mount. Supposed to be available the first week of December.

Icon is my crack...and I'd love to run that setup with omegas up front and ditch the swaybar.

...but I think that the bumper Mikey is getting comes first for me!

If you're not LT chances are you'll never heat your shocks up enough to even need secondary shocks. Certainly not bypasses.
 
Bump stop. Here is a photo of one on the rear of a Tacoma.

I'd argue we don't NEED any of the stuff :). For me, it's worth the extra $$$ for bypasses for the few times a year I go to a place where I can do some faster runs. For example, White Rim this past summer. Front remote reservoirs held up beautifully, but I blew a seal on one of my rear monotubes. The nice thing about the bypasses is the wide range of adjustability, especially with the icons where you can adjust compression and rebound by hand. Certainly don't need it, but certainly is nice!

Yeah it sounds like you would benefit from them. Im not sure how I feel about a blot on shock hoop with a secondary attached to a skid. Ideal for me would be tc lowers and gussets on everything.
