No pics, sorry, camera is on the fritz.

Passenger side of the block, down low. Just aft of the motor mount. Looks like it probably screws into the block, and has a wire connected with a spade. Found that wire dangling loose and reconnected it, just curious what it is. My Chilton is less than helpful.

Ok, so this is weird, but mine looks nothing like that. It's bigger.

Is yours the sender for the idiot light or the SR5 gauge? I'm starting to wonder if this one is the SR5 sender, and maybe it fried my idiot light the same way the on/off sender fries the SR5 gauge?

Here, the camera decided to work this time...

The picture I put up may not have been from a 4runner, or who knows what year. It was a quick pic pulled off a google search. I just searched for a 22re oil psi sender. Just as a reference.

Not having it hooked up may not give a light. I think that it takes a certain resistance to give your oil psi light, I'm not 100% certain how they work or what their ranges are for turning the light on/off.

What? You mean you didn't immediately run out to your truck and take that picture??? :D

Thanks guys. Guess I'll need to crack the FSM in the morning and see about the test procedure for that sender. Or not, I've got an SR5 cluster ready to go waiting on the new sender anyway, maybe I'll just do that.
