Just about had it wrapped up, put antifreeze in the radiator stood there admiring my work when I heard water hitting the floor, and not just a drop it was like a running stream. Crawled beck under and saw the water coming from the side of the block and running down over the pan on the passenger side. I can't see where it is leaking with all the pumps, belts, a/c compressor, belt adjusters, etc, I just closed the doors and walked into the house. Sooooo I guess I will start over, pull the radiator, fan, front cover, and anything else that is in the way. I am getting to old for this crap but what else can I do, got to much time and money in it to just dump it.

I sure hope it's not a cracked block, its got new heads, cams, crank, 2 pistons and rods, water pump, injectors, if that block is cracked I am screwed.........

I can only hope. I have got over my mad, so I guess in the morning I will start all over......again....

When I removed all the parts that were in the way I could see that it was the water pump, the gasket had moved, opening a small hole in the lower part of the pump between the pump and block. A new gasket and some sealant was used to correct the problem. I am going to let it sit for a few days before filling with water. Maybe one one of these days I will get the motor started........:embarassed:

P I TA as that is, I'm glad you didn't have another part to buy or a block to replace. Better days ahead, sir!
