Ignition or Starter??

Hey fellas 95 3.0... It'll start fine when its cold, but if I turn her off, run in the store or somethin for 20 min come back, I'll turn the key it acts dead, turn off then turn again, and she'll start fine... Any ideas?

Possibly a neutral safety or clutch interlock switch going goofy--just one possibility.
