My first car was the same age as I was when I got it. I paid $400 for a 77 rabbit that was school bus orange, had an on/off switch but didn't start...had to pop the clutch everytime...needless to say it was gone in about 2 months!

Shrink your pictures in MS Paint. Use the strech feature and downsize height and width by the same percentages. Save to file, then check the file size. If it's still too big do it again. That's what I do. No fancy software.

She needs something for a MAC. MS Paint on a MAC would cause the MAC to smoke and burn :uzi:
 
man, all of you are sure doing a whole lotta work for this southern girl. and come on now, asking for pictures of her and her runner???

im only 22, which is a whole hella lot closer to her age than most others and i still would imply what u guys are. guys lets just try not to scare her off....

Very nice. I think peeling off that sticker will hurt the paint. To be safe, go back to the dealer and ask them to remove the sticker for you. I hate when the dealer puts advertising on your truck that you paid for. Why would you pay to advertise them? Anyway, both of your 4Runners look great.

It should be a problem peeling off the sticker. Since it's relatively new the sticker hasn't had that much time to cure. Heat it up if it gives you problems. If there is any sticky residue, get some Goo Off or Goo Gone or something to that nature to remove it.

The dealer sticker was the first thing I removed, a couple of months later I debadged the entire truck. Looks so much nicer to me and it's easier to wax.
 
mine had the dealer sticker on it...it was one of those that when they stick it on, each letter and logo is a separate sticker...I just recently did it (after the sticker has been on for just under 2 years). I set it such that the rear end was pointing towards the sun in the hot afternoon heat (it's been > 100F here for some time) and they peeled right off. some left a little sticky...the goo gone took it right off. I'm sure it ate away the wax there too, but hey...it was time to wash and wax her...

It isn't going to hurt the paint to take it off. I would just leave it in the sun and it should just peel right off. Like everybody has said, if there is any sticky stuff left you can use Goof Off or Goo Gone. I have even used a little bit of rubbing alchohol on a tissue. DO NOT USE FINGER NAIL POLISH REMOVER. I know you wouldn't, but it had to be said. Another thing you can do is to use a hair dryer to heat it up and then peel it off. This is what I did the night I brought mine home for the dealership sticket and pin stripes.
 
Nice truck, especially for your first. I'm 17, my first car was my '98 4runner. I got it two Aprils ago.

And yeah, it's not that rare to see teenagers driving pretty amazing cars now. My school parking has Mercedes, Denalis, Beamers, Lexus, and then one kid has my dream car....1995 Toyota Supra 18'' Giovannis, manual. Needless to say, I plan on killing him and stealing his car. :p

im so excited that i have 7 months left, i cant even imagine how u must feel when u first got it and now that u have it!
