After trading in my 1997 4Runner for a 2012 Corolla earlier this year, I recently began looking again. I love my Corolla, I just need something larger and more fun to drive. I plan to keep the Corolla for commuting, and found an absolutely amazing deal on a 1998 4Runner today.
Oxidized roof and hood, some rust on the rear bumper and hitch, back window doesn't roll down, and she needs a timing belt job soon. Other than that, an amazing rig! No frame or other body rust, 180,000 miles, newer tires, and a fat stack of excellent service records. 5speed!!! Runs great!
Best part? Paid about half of blue book for her. Can't wait to dig out my ARB and take the rear bumper from our wrecked project and get this thing looking clean
First purchase is the timing belt parts, followed soon by a sport hood and matching paint for the roof and hood.
So happy to be back in the T4R realm!
