So, just out of curiosity, I would love to know what "upgrades" or modifications YOU would recommend to give the most bang for your buck.

I'm talking little upgrades, some things that you might think wouldn't make a huge difference but are actually good to have.

I'm planning on getting a K&N air filter, for example, to give my engine a little more pep.

What have y'all done as little upgrades here and there just to squeak out a little bit more awesome from your 4Runner? :banana:

The small/cheap mods I appreciate daily:

Lighting
- HID's into 07 projectors
- LED interior swap
- Map light to Dome light mod
- Auxiliary reverse LED light pods

Additional junkyard 12v accessory plugs

Homelink / Autodimming mirror swap

Weathertech floor mats
Seat covers to "update" look and keep seats in great condition for later
LED interior lights
Tool kit in the cargo area since I have 144k miles and need to be prepared lol

I actually have the Weathertech floor mats, and I'm in the market for seat covers (I'm just picky) ...do you have some that fit well that you like? Thanks!!

Clazzio’s are the go to. Bit pricey but worth it

VSC disable button.
All you need is a button and some wire.
Also in the Weekend Mod Sticky.
 
Oh ya don't get an oiled air filter , try afe pro dry , what I have in both mine ! Take em out when doing oil change , hit em on the curb put em back in 100k no probs !

Agreed on the oiled air filter statement. Too much oil your MAF gets soaked, too little oil your engine gets dusted. Dry filter is the way to go.

Ive got CoverKings, but havent installed them yet. Material feels nice and had good reviews. Plan on doing this weekend and can let you know
