-11 last night here, -35 with windshield, and 10" of snow & ice. It was -13 when I got up at 6 am, but should reach 26 today.

temp guage said 4 degrees this morning when I went to start her up... had to give a solid pull just to get the door to open, and then looked like a clown at the security gate since my window was frozen shut... anyone else have issues with operability during these temps? :smow:

Nope. Mine cranked about twice as long as usual before firing right up, and other than a slightly stiffer ride, everything was great.

I started the wife's Odyssey this morning and it took two tries and when it finally started it made an awful moaning sound like a sick cow or something.

My oldest daughter heard it from inside the house and said; "Daddy, is Mommy's car sick?" Good stuff.

Damn am I glad to be in san diego, I think we had it a hot 70+ degrees for past week, is it freakin winter or what???

Man weather has been crazy cold in the east!

Here in Southern California temps have been steady 72-80 for the past 3 weeks straight. I even went to the beach last weekend in shorts and t shirt!

Love California weather but I miss the rain! it's hasn't been this dry in CA for years. Even the Sierra Mountains in Northern California snowfall is 80% short of the total snowfall that we should have now. Not good!

i think we hit around -20F, with wind chill around -50F to -60F.

once place just north of the USAF base was -70F wind chill.


bad part is, once it hits around 30-40F we are like dam, its summer. break out the short sleeve shirts and shorts.

and you can tell when someone from up north is down in florida during the winter. 50-60F and we are like sweating up a storm while you are feeezing your ass off.

That shitty weather is the whole reason I left the UK and headed to Las Vegas. Mind you it was a chilly 58 degrees here yesterday, but not a cloud in the sky......Oh and I still have the heat on:thumb3:

Having moved from Maine to KY in July, I actually liked the cold spell (-5 to -13), felt like home.

It rained the night the temp dropped 48 degrees so all my doors were frozen shut in the morning (43 to -5). I poured warmish water on the top seal to melt the ice. The water froze before it made it the ground. While the doors opened, all the side windows were coated in 1/4" of solid ice. :redbrick:

Runner cranked up great but my lovely EPA equip API Pump sounded like it was going to die on me. Got to try out my bubba rope as well and it worked great! Pulled some kids in a blazer out of a ditch. Think I might have made them 4Runner fans.

It was 9* here when I came out for work this morning. Believe that is the coldest I've seen in MS in the 27 years I've been alive lol

Brrr all, stay warm, we have been pretty consistent high lows have been around 10 and high highs as much as 30 since november (in the valley)
