In Panama - 2010 Limited With Go Rhino 36 Inch Step Installed..Pictures Inside

Justa thought I would share my pics of the 36 inch Go Rhino hitch step just I installed. In my opinion it looks very nice a elegant, adds a nice touch if you use the last hole. The closer it is to the body of the vehicle it blends in just fine. What like to know what everyhone else thinks.

Opinions please...what do you guys think??

I think it looks nice and it matches the rest of the chrome accents of the vehicle....+ with the way people drive in Panama (extremely crazy)....it is a good Idea to have one to prevent people from parking to close behind your new Rig... I like it!!

BTW Welcome to the forum I am from Panama . Do you have anymore pics from the inside of the 4runner?...

:iagree: I only step on the back when I am cleaning the roof, but all the roof access for loading and unloading is done from the side

Thanks for the comments. Well I will take more pics later and post them but the interior is all black with leather.

Here in Panama this car ran me at $65,000.00 + 5% tax. The reason being is that we here have to pay big time taxes and now trhey have a luxury tax law that falls right into the priceing. I saw the import papers and the car actually cost something $41K in the US right to Miami. But whne I saw this car I had to have it. I bought mine through a dealer that imports because the local Toyota dealer which is Ricardo Perez on brings one version to Panama. Basically it is a stripped down version...it does say limited BUT NOT HAVE the following:

Running Boards With Staineless Stesl Strip
Sun Roof
Back Up Camera
20 Inch Premium Wheels
Xreas Suspension
Rear Cargo Slider
Keyless Entry
Keyless Start
The Trim Is Different
15 Speaker JBL System
Does Not Include Curtain Air Bags - Only Front Air Bags
Does Not Have Under Coating
Paint Is Not Sealed
No Towing Package

After I took all these things into consideration, I finally decided to buy the fully loaded with all the goodies from another dealer but imported from the US. The one sold here is a 4 Runner with the Urban Runner package. Not to flame anyone but I drove it without the Xreas and to my the nose dips too much for my tastes and since it is missing soo much it just looks weird to me. Besdies that it costs $58,000.00 so for a few more K's I got the one I really wanted with all the goodies. I am a happy and proud owner.

I couldn't imagine driving that car in Panama. I rented Yaris in Panama City for 3 weeks and felt sorry for it.

I bought a black one from Ricardo Perez. Overall, I really love the vehicle, but as Skippystang mentions, there are many things that do not come with the vehicle that you would think would be standard...the biggest items being that the inside is not all black (it is about 60% black, and 40% grey), it comes with 18" rims instead of 20" (although it probably is better performance when you get outside the city, but it doesn't look as nice), no backup camera or rear sensors (big drawback), and the lack of the more potent radio system really hurts, and no 120V outlets.

I was really disappointed in the omission of these items, and would have preferred the US version, but I am still more than happy with my purchase and I paid much less than the 58K that's listed. I like the fact that there aren't many on the road here. I owned a previous Sport Version (2006) back in the US, and I am a big fan of this vehicle. I wouldn't have bought any other SUV/car, for sure. The fact that it has a 3rd row seat is just icing on the cake.

Looking forward to seeing your 4Runner on the road, Skippystang...with the Rhino hitch, and the much nicer white trim than is sold here, you'll be easy to spot. Take care...

No, no Trail Edition available here. If you buy at the only Toyota Dealer here, Ricardo Perez, you can only select the color of the vehicle - nothing else. There is only one trim, and you cannot select anything. It comes in one standard package. The price is $58K retail here...

IMHO, in Panama, its functional, hell yeah!!!! But being honest, it doesn't looks cool.

And now that you are in that mood, you should install also the front bullbars, just for the same use as JAC said

Thats why I keep my hitch on! Messes up their bumper a lot more than mine!
