Inexpensive OE Parts Source?

As my Toyota Dealer source for inexpensive OE parts is not longer shipping out of his state (Georgia) who are you using for competitively priced OE parts? I would appreciate any tips. I have heard people using Camelback. Does anyone know if they are still shipping out of state orders?

Yes. I've also used Toyota of Dallas: Toyota Part Sales of Toyota of Dallas. They are a hair cheaper than Camelback and I've had great experiences with them so far.

When they gave me the total over the phone I initially thought that they had screwed up the order. Of course I knew that they were gouging me on price when they gave me a $17.72 price for the TRD filter - these are $9.30 everywhere.

Anyway, I had all of my color-coded price research with me and I think that I caught them off guard. I told them that there was no way I was paying almost double for the same exact part. They ended up adjusting the prices to $1 or $2 more than the Toyota of Dallas price. For convenience I was willing to do this and actually I came out ahead when you calculate what shipping would have been from Toyota of Dallas.

This is disappointing because I would like to use my local Toyota dealer when I need them, but now I don't trust them. How many unsuspecting women (sorry, but I think that a woman not familiar with cars is more likely to pay $17.92 for an oil filter than a guy) go to the parts counter and simply pay the price on the invoice?

This isn't right - Toyota USA shouldn't let dealers do this. I'm fortunate that I did my research. Does anyone else have a local dealer trying to do this?

I also bought the OEM Toyota 90915-YZZD3 oil filter for around $4.00 - not sure which one is best at this point.

Man - that is a BIG DIFFERENCE! My local Toyota place is about the same. They quoted me $158 for a single Denso fuel injector and I can get the same one online for $88 bucks. I will be checking out Toyota of Dallas for future parts orders.
