Infinity Basslink Installed with Picture

Small Enclosure, HUGE on sound. What a difference. I have polks all around, an Alpine amp, and an eclipse headunit. It wasnt until this basslink was installed yesterday that the system showed its true potential. And it takes up NO SPACE, my dogs are very happy about that.

that has a built in amp, correct? so are you just running coax to it or speaker wire from your head unit? how much did you have to give? I need something like this to finish my sound, saw one on cl but at the time wasn't sure now your post has me thinking again.

This is a completely self powered unit. I paid $299 via Crutchfield. Yes, you can find them cheaper on CL or ebay, however I am a fan of crutchfield's guarantee and for the little bit extra was willing to pay for this. Delivery was free however. A friend of mine installed it for me for $75.00, well worth it as he does seamless work. It is connected to the head unit so that it can be controlled. I had to cut up my mat in the back as you can see form the pic, but that isnt a big deal. Totally worth it, much crisper and cleaner than the bazooka tubes.

looks good, ive been wanting to replace my 2 - 10" fosgates with a single 12" but i like how little space your set up takes. Can you still use the cargo area behind there? If not can it be mounted on the other side?

would not fit on the other side. if youre referring to the small door opening cargo area behind the basslink, I have my amp mounted in there out of sight. essentially with the installation my guy did, the wheel well is extended another foot, you lose very little space.

oh i see thats cool. i use that cargo area for a lot of things (flash light, jumper cables, flares, tools, air compressor etc.) so i like having access to it. having the amp in there would be awesome though. does your amp ever have problems with over heating in there?

My first set of subs was also 2- 10'' Rockford Fosgate p2's. Pretty good but since then gone through lots of different set up and now I've got 1- 10'' JL W7 which nothing I've ever owned has ever compared to. Crazy Bass.

Ohh and you could always mount an amp to the back of the rear seats. Done that in plenty of vehicles before and it worked out great. Never was in the way, didn't have to worry about it overheating cause it had plenty of room to breath, and it was hidden behind my box so.

So can you access that door behind your Basslink?

Or is the Basslink screwed into the 4runner's frame?
