I also received and installed my Wet Okole rear covers this week and am really happy with how they turned out. They will be great protection for the dogs and the dogs are more secure on this than on the softex.

I have the same setup with the Toytec kit and SAW 1.5" I love how the Ridge Grapplers look on your 4Runner at 285/70/17. It has really convinced me to go that route once I replace the stock Nitto's. Stock Nitto's are too worn to get any resale value out of them but too early to replace so I will just have to drive as much value out of them as I can before buying new tires. I think I will just go "C" instead of "E" as I don't get to wheel as much as I would like.

Thanks. You've been helpful throughout the process, with all the math and suspension info, etc. I appreciate it.
I was thinking about it today on those roads and I still don't seem to have any rubbing. This means one of two things. First, I'm really lucky. Second, the shop I chose to do the install knows what they are doing. I'm going with the latter since I've never won anything. I posted in another thread about this shop before the install and wasn't too pleased with my initial convo with them. It turns out though, I appear to have made the right decision about everything. I was worried about the truck being too blacked out without the white lettering on the KO2s. I'm happy I listened to these guys and got the Nittos. They look great. My only concern is snow performance. My KOs on the FJ did really well on the CO mountain passes.
Overall, I'm really pleased with how the truck is turning out. Sliders next.

I am currently awaiting delivery of my 2017 which should be there within a week or so. I am also going with the Nitto Ridge Grapplers (same size you have). Now that you have had a chance to get some mileage on the tires, how do you like them? Do you notice any rubbing at all?
Do you have any wheel spacers or are you running rims direct onto hubs without spacers?
With your 3M 35% tint - how do you like it? I had tinted front windows on my old 2015 however it looked yellow from inside and outside which really was a piss off considering it ruined the whole look of the truck. Looked like I had on a pair of those 1980's yellow RX glasses.....

I'm getting my toytec installed tomorrow.. really interested to hear your experience with MPG on the larger tires.
I installed my SSO rear bumper a few weeks ago and it sagged the rear end to an almost level stance so I stayed with the 2" super flex coils. I'm hoping it brings the rear up just a little bit compared to the front. I feel the truck looks more aggressive with a slight forward lean.

Thanks. Definitely lost MPG with this setup
and the Gobi. Probably running 16 most days around town, maybe a little under. 17-18 highway. Road hum had increased over the initial life of these tires, too. Not bad, but noticeable. The rubber has about 9k on it now.

hey there. i know the thread is a bit old, but wanted to ask a question. my girl's in need of new shoes finally and im gonna do the lift at the same time. i'm also in denver and have decided on the same lift and tire setup but have been a tad bit concerned with rubbing as i do intend to take it up into the mountains with my jeep buds. you've reported no rubbing attribute it to the work done by the shop so im interested to hear who you went with. i've had intentions of doing it myself but if i can get the no rub peace of mind then it'd be worth it to me for a pro to have it done. you can pm if need be.
