Install Aftermarket Stereo in 2000 T4R Using Factory Amp?

I've got a 2000 SR5 4Runner and I'd like to install a used JVC head unit I have, but I want to use the factory-installed amplifier rather than the amp in the JVC. I have a suspicion that there's something wrong with the amp section of the JVC so I'd rather just stick with the factory amp for now until I get a nicer, newer head unit. My question is mainly how do I do this, and what wiring harness do I need?

Use the "Search" function man.

This has been covered a million times.

There are harnesses you can buy for using the stock amp.

However if you're going to be upgrading to a different HU, just use the one in the JVC unit, then all you have to do is use the wiring harness.

No point is buying two separate harnesses when you are going to go to one anyway.

I appreciate the reply. I guess what I'm looking for is specific examples, like "I used the metra 1234567AB harness"... When I started looking for them on Amazon I was a little confused, and a lot of the descriptions are not very... umm...descriptive, so I wanted to consult and make sure I had the right part numbers.
