install non JBL 09toy 7019 navi in 10 spk JBL sytem

I picked up a BRAND NEW E7019 non JBL Navi unit out of an '09 4runner. I have an '04 w/ JBL

Now first off does anyone want to trade my non JBL for a JBL? Maybe you bought one but didnt realize you needed a JBL amp.

second, I used to have a pioneer headunit that I hard wired strait to speakers. I have since pulled all that out because I was going to sell that car. Well I fell back in love with it and kept it.

Should I just say F-it and hard wire this one in?

also im comfused about 3rd gen and gen navi unit differences. is there even a 5th gen?

btw what ever happned to OEMvalue?

I haven't found specific breakdowns of exactly what generation nav has what or is.

This is my guess on the different nav generations:
1st, HD based (I think only found on Lexus cars 98-00).
2nd, DVD based with a seperate ECU for the DVD-ROM (on 4R's the ones with a tape deck, upto '04).
3rd, DVD based all-in-one unit (for Toyotas, no tape deck, dual disc slots one CD and the other for DVD, '04-05).
4th, DVD based all-in-one with Bluetooth (for Toyotas, '06+).
5th, DVD based with Bluetooth and TrafficNav.
6th, HD based with the option to load music, etc.

Guessing OEMValue went away since the navigation headunits that were used across many Toyota and Lexus models (2002-06 Camry, 3rd gen ES300/330, 1st gen Tundra and Sequoia, 2nd gen Sienna, 1st gen Highlander, 4th gen 4Runner, 2nd gen Solara) are no long available. They claim they got their nav's from people who upgraded their OEM nav sound system to aftermarket. They were selling the 2007+ Camry nav for a while.

this wont help you out much but i'm looking for a non JBL factory nav for my 05, where did you find it? also will the 09 work okay in an 05?

Looks just like any other toyota Nav.

Its single CD
DVD based
AUX input
SAT input
steering wheel controls
orange buttons
no Bluetooth
no Back up Camera (well not in any of the cars it came in so far)

But all the plugs are there from any other navi setup so Im pretty sure I can get a camera going.

Going to buy an iSimple set up to run the Ipod control and aux input.

No bezel kit as long as you have a factory single disk originally in your truck. No amp required it is an "all inclusive" unit. It is a plug and play in ANY non jbl toyota or scion

Has anyone gotten an E7019 nav unit to work with a backup camera? When I put my 4Runner in reverse, the screen will go black with the words "Check surroundings for safety" or something to that effect at the bottom of the screen. It seems like something that would occur if it was capable of use with a backup camera. From what I've read, the E7019 isn't capable of use with a backup camera. Anybody know differently? My E7019 was from a 2010 Corolla.
