Installed head unit, need help

So I installed a head unit and I can't remember if the a/c controls are suppose to light up when the lights are on.
Edit: don't know why it loaded upside down but you get the idea

my AC controls light up - i have a 2001. Have you double checked to make sure all the plugs are connected?

I got 97 and same setup as yours. The AC light should light up when you turn the side marker/dash lights on. Probably the bulb is bad. It is pain to access the light. Try this, remove the front black cover and then there should be a transparent plastic piece that carries the light to the panel. Try removing the plastic panel to access the bulb. The bulb is the same bulb goes into the front marker light bulb / large dash light bulb.

After my head unit install my lights quit working on my ac. Went to autozone and bought replacements. Changed it out and it works fine now. Mine was just one bulb.

I'll send the part # if I get a chance.

Perhaps it's the bulb.

On another note ..... Windows, right click, rotate picture. Upload.

It's a #74 bulb

Also check you plugged the wires back in the correct spots. There is a dummy plug on the back of mine where the plug fits cut no electrical wires to it. Should be an easy fix

Pulled the plate off looks like its the bulb ill pick one up and give it a try, thanks for the help
