I got it on but have a quick question for someone that has finished it....

The feet that are most forward and not bolted down, how much paint do they cover? Right now I have half of it on paint and the other half on the rubber'ish drip edge cover. I am wondering if this is correct. I cant get more paint (moving the foot more inboard), and if I mover it outboard even less of the foot will be on a solid surface.

Advice appreciated!!

I'd be totally surprised if any of it was to be on the paint. The very front feet aren't exactly weight bearing.

There is really no way for it not to be on the paint. I know they aren't weight bearing, but they are still going to attach as there is an adhesive strip that is supposed to "stick" to the roof. It's just that it is half on the rubber and half on the paint...

Actually, the purpose of the front feet are to distribute the load onto the roof, so they are load bearing. They do not hold the rack onto the roof, however. Here's mine-

That's pretty much what my BajaRack looks like, too. I think he's fine.
