Installing TRD Pro bumper trim pieces on SR5

I've thought about that too. I'd like to put the newer TRD wheels (black, 17x7) on my SR5P. I'm going to have my front and rear bumpers Line-Xed in black, along with my fender flares. I've never used Line-X before, but from all I've read and seen on YouTube, it looks like good stuff.
 
Looks great! I have an SR5 and was looking to do the same thing with the front valence. If I read your post correctly, there are already marks on the inside of the original bumper for the 13 clip cut outs? I just need to pull the bumper and cut along the marks?

Did you find instructions on how to take off the front bumper or did you just wing it?

--Wing'd it. Start in a wheel well and follow underneath around the front to the other wheel well. You can do it!

Hey Man,
How difficult it was to remove all the clips, old logo grill and install the new TRD pieces? are instructions included? how do you remove those black, plastic clips holding the cover on top of the radiator?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It is the easiest thing I have ever done to a vehicle. Took 20 minutes. Detailed instructions are included. No tools needed other than a screwdriver and trim removal tool(barely). Push the button on the clips and they pop loose.
 
Trigger pulled!!! Still can't believe $535 for two pieces of plastic!!! But the difference in looks is well worth it. Now I hopefully get the package before my wife does.
 
I know. I want to order it so bad as well but with the lift and spacers and tires I should probably wait. Don't even have the truck yet haha
 
I got all the new parts for the back door handle. Can anyone tell me how to mount the 4RUNNER letters on the back door garnish. There are divots in the garnish and little hole-like things that would help line up the letters but I can't figure it out. Thanks.

I took some pics of mine and a few trails up at the dealership for reference, and I noticed each pic was different. Mine isn't 'perfect', but neither were the referenced pics. My .02

Just line up the letters/emblem nipples with the hole-like things one at a time. Take your time. Look at your reference pictures. Patience. 'WoooooSaahhhhhh'

Finally rec'd my front/rear pieces from the TRD shop. Yep....$500ish for a few pieces of plastic is a bit extreme.

Question for the folks who have removed the front/rear bumper and trim pieces....is this a one-man job or did you use some sort of lift to keep the pieces in place? Or....does it have enough resistance to keep the pieces in place after all bolts removed? Just trying to figure out if I need some beer and a friend handy or if I can start on this solo.

Ummm, unbolt the old then bolt on the new. Simple 4 bolt installation.
