When I ported and polished my supercharger I also drilled and tapped a couple ports to install the injector either b4 boost or after boost. I installed 1/8 npt Allen plugs to block the ports when not in use.

I mounted mine to the side of the air intake box. Screws in front of the filter so as not to hinder replacing the air filter. My instructions said it didn't need to be mounted below the tank. If you want I can take a pic when I get back to it in 5 days. Been there for over a year, off roading etc. Pretty solid. Devils
Own kit.

Thanks for the suggestions. Ideally you want the pump below the reservoir so that it stays "fed" with fluid to avoid delays in delivery when your system activates.

The front bumper spot posted looks like a good one. The pump can be mounted in any orientation, so I may see if I can find a spot to flip it sideways or something a long those lines. Trying to reduce length of hose runs as well.

You guys using the -20 washer fluid? Wish I could find -30 but locally all I can find is the -20 stuff.

Just mix your own.

I considered that too, but places I looked made it way more expensive than washer fluid. I can get -20 washer stuff (Xtreme Blue Brand) $2.59/gallon and it's about 35% methanol from the MDS sheets I found.

5 gallon pail of methanol was about $60 plus shipping.

I heard Home Depot had gallons of methanol for cheap, so I need to look there.

It's mixed by weight not volume, and I have a digital scale so no biggie there.

Where do u get it for 60 bucks for 5 gallons?? I've been just buying the 4packs of heet from wall mart. I run 50%. I tried washer fluid, it just plugs the injector so I don't use washer fluid anymore.

Boost Juice from Snow Performance would be cheaper. I think it's $40 for 4 gallons. I picked up 8 gallons of the stuff off Craigslist but already went through one when tuning and being a dork with it lol. They also sell it on Amazon.

My pump is lower that the reservoir, I mounted it along the fender wall below the battery. There's a nice flat spot with pre-drilled holes that I just stuck a bolt through and tightened the nut in the driver's side wheel well. I could only find 3 holes to use but it's plenty tight. If you want a photo I can take one but don't have one handy.

Most importantly, it's completely shielded from road debris and water and still lower than the reservoir. To those that mounted it higher: if you have a "pusher" pump is must be lower since if there's air in the line it doesn't work right, if it's a "puller" pump it doesn't matter.

$68 + $20 shipping on amazon. Seemed to be standard pricing from what I found online. I guess since diesel trucks seem to be using it as a race fuel it may explain the price increases.

Boost Juice will be my last resort. I planned the project around being able to use cheap $3 -20 washer fluid. Reports are that if you get the kind that doesn't "foam" when shaken, it's good to go. I'll give it a whirl and see how we do.

I like your location for the pump, but it's on the other side of the truck from the reservoir. How do you know if you have a push or pull pump? I may also look in to a check ball.

Check out Texas_Ace on yotatech. He had tons on deal on his meth injection setup

I've talked to him quite a bit actually.

Oh, yeah washer fluid is much cheaper. I was referring to the other member who was using HEET. Unfortunately CA doesn't sell sub-zero washer fluid in my area since its an environmental hazard.

I know my pump is a "pusher" pump because the instructions describe it as such and say to mount below the reservoir. Basically just follow the installation directions.

Instructions? Who reads those!? J/K LOL - actually that's been the one of the only things I haven't liked about the Coolingmist kit so far, they didn't include instructions at all, you go to their site to find them and they're full of errors and contradictions. I'm decent with a wrench so I can figure it out but would be hard for someone new to this stuff.

They just say to mount the pump below the fluid "if possible". My pump has arrows on the top for flow but I can find no info on push pull or otherwise. I looked it over last night and your suggestion under the battery looks the best. I considered behind the bumper but the engineer in me sees the elements taking a toll on it over time.

Off to get some wire and loom and get started.

Well, got the kit installed and whoa nelly. I've just barely started tuning it and it already drives way better than with just the 7th injector.

I'll post up some pics and stuff when I get it all finished up. Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.

I mounted mine here, on passenger side below reservoir:

Nice. What's the PSI of the pump and size of the nozzle? I'm running a 300 PSI pump with a 625cc nozzle which on the chart says it's for a 300-500 HP engine but these boosted engines LOVE fuel.

All these companies seem to rate their nozzles differently, presumably on purpose to make them all seem custom designed. My kit is the CoolingMist stage 2. 200psi pump and it came with a nozzle good for 300HP, which I "think" was their CM3. Not sure how many CC that is.

Yeah, it's sort of confusing. No industry standard.

Based off the numbers of the product, seeing there's a CM2-14, I'm going to guess that's gallons per hour like how other companies do it, so 3 GPH. My nozzle is the equivalent 10 GPH and it's pretty much perfect for the 2.1" pulley. Granted I think you said you already have the 7th injector as well? If that's the case then that might be ok, or if using this on a stock pulley. However if the 7th injector is not installed, you're probably going to want a bigger nozzle.

Yep, I have the 7th injector from URD installed. Zeroed out the fuel map this morning on the way to work and will see how the AFR does. I'm running the 2.2" pulley at present and planned to go to the 2.1 when I had things settled in.

Contemplating disconnecting the battery to reset all the params so the system can re-learn with meth installed. Thoughts?

I didn't and it it worked just fine. The ECU doesn't seem to account for the meth very well even in closed loop. At 1/3 throttle or so I still run AFR's around 13.5 or so, which with a 2.1" pulley is about 4 PSI. If the engine doesn't down shift and if I ease on the throttle slowly, I've seen numbers as low as 12.0 with about 5 PSI at 2500 RPMs. Not idea, but you get the point. The ECU is yet to pull fuel, so at this point I don't think it will since it's been a month.

On the flip side, my catalytic converter is failing lol! 210k miles though, so I can't complain.
