Bought a 99 sr5 3.4L a few months ago, started throwing codes (P0171, and P0120, but throttle response is normal) has a spectre "CAI", leaning towards its making the MAF throw the codes. Any thoughts? CEL goes on and off regularly. Thanks.:hatsoff:

Clean your MAF? Takes 20 minutes max. tons of threads on it. The 99+ MAF's get dirty really fast I hear.

Yeah i bought some MAF cleaner the other day, just trying to get some free daylight to clean it, just seeing if Im going in the right direction with this. And CAI= cold air intake, the spectre one was installed when i bought it, but from what I've read, they're one of the lower quality cheap ones. plus it doesnt have the mounting bracket, so my air filter is more or less resting on a wheel well, tried to order the replacement, but spectre doesnt have them available.

Ditto. The Spectre is not a 'cold air intake' since it is sucking in hot engine bay air, costing you performance (a cold air intake has a box around it to keep the hot engine bay air out and a vent to somewhere outside to get cool air - like the stock airbox does). The stock air box will do a much better job of filtering the air (the most important job of an air filter system) and bring in cold air from outside the engine bay, through the wheel well.
