There are two versions of headers, 03-04 v8 and 05-09. There shouldn't be any rubbing except if you're lifted. If you've lifted there's a small bolt you can replace on the steering column with a flush head to fix it.

Ends Aug 4th! V8 4th gens are known to get a leaky cracked header and start making a ticking sound. These new headers fix that problem, add abotu 2-3 more MPG and aprox 35 HP gain. New Toyota headers are DOUBLE the price. Get in while you can.

o2 Sensors

I just wanted to reiterate how bad Doug Thorley messed up the o2 sensor holes. I just had to remove my o2 sensors and install a spacer and its almost impossible. In fact it was impossible on the driver side. With that said anyone who purchases these in the future should ask them if they have repositioned the o2 sensor hole. (mine was 2003 non vvti version). I have pictures in previous post who I did the install. So frustrating.

Currently we are not looking to add Cats to these headers, our current
design will remain the only option we have for some time to come.

I have spacers in my rear 02's and had no issues getting them in.

Wanted to update this. I have 3 sets of 05-09 in stock, and 5 sets of 03-04 in stock. Then they are gone, it's will take until mid April to get more back in.

You have to cut the cats off the stock manifold and weld them onto the headers. Its a bit tricky as the flanges need to be set right. I screwed one up on mine and ended up cutting the opposite flange off and rewelding it rather than removing the headers.

I also polished the cats before reinstalling to make them look shiny!

Cool. On the cats, call me to order, or text me and I can send a custom link to order. They aren't on the site.

The reason why most replace the cats is you have to cut the factory ones off anyway, and new ones will floe even better.

URD makes an O2 simulator that tricks the computer into thinking the cats are functioning properly even if they aren't there.

The pic just above are my headers with primary cats removed. I had to add multiple O2 sensor spacers on the rear O2 sensors to get no faults, been running a year now with no issues. No need for expensive simulator unless you're trying to fool a visual inspection.

Quick question on gaskets for the DT headers. I know the headers come with gaskets but they seem kind of cheap, so I purchased a new set of OEM gaskets. Is it preferred one over the other? Any experience with this would be appreciated since I'll be getting them installed Friday.

I used the ones that came with the headers. Just make sure not to bend and damage them.

Depends on your setup. I ran Magnaflow Hi-Flow cats as primary and deleted the second cats. I put spacers in my rear 02's. Are they needed because I still have cats? Not sure. When I have time I'm going to remove the spacers and try without them to see if I get a code.

Well currently I'll be running DT headers, HFCs, and stock Y-Pipe. I will eventually be swapping out for a URD Y-Pipe.

Try it without first, then if you get a code put the eliminators in. Then post up here out it works out! HAHA
