Interior LED Question

I've got a 2014 TE and want to do the interior LED swap. I've been reading every thread I can find on the subject, but I've still got a question.

I'm going to order the lights from vleds.com. Does anyone know if the dome/cargo bulbs should be the 3175-31mm size or the 3022-29mm size? It looks like a couple of members have gone with the 3175-31mm but then found that they had to bend/modify something in order to make them fit because they were a little too long. So I'm wondering if the 3022-29mm would actually be the proper fit?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

If you can get the slightly shorter one for the dome light I would do that, it's easy to bend the tabs closer, but it's hell to bend them wider due to the tight space in the dome light. I got the 31mm and it was way too wide for the center dome light.

The ones on the hatch have plenty of room to bend so you can easily squeeze the 31mm in there.

Just a heads-up to anybody that's curious or still thinking about doing the swap themselves-----I ended up using the vleds, and they worked perfectly with no modifications to bulbs or clips necessary.

The vled 194 size fit the vanity lights, map lights, and all 4 door lights (you guys obviously already knew this).

The vled 3022 size fit the dome and cargo hatch lights perfectly without any pinching of the bulb tips, stretching of the clips, etc.

By Following the good info and instructions in the previous threads of NoDak and Eddiebx, the whole swap was a cinch and only took about 30 min...
