interior lights

I was shocked by this... I've had three Runners, am on my 4th a 2018 TRDORP. I thought a fuse was out or something. I've always been able to turn on all cabin lights with the dimmer switch. SO weird. I'm not sure what the reasoning is but I'm hoping there is a way to Mod it so that it can.

Anyone?

You just bumped a FIFTEEN year old post...

This thread could almost drive.

ha yea, learning to shave.

i did the map light mod, and tapped the center (2nd row) overhead dome, and ran wires to the front map lights. theres an empty pin in the plugs you can tap. viola now they turn on when you open the doors.

rear dome light not working

Anyone know of a quick fix for the rear hatch dome light not working? It wasn't the bulb as a new LED replacement also wouldn't work. Not sure what the next step would be or which fuse to check. 2007 SR5 4x4

You probably did this but did you verify the polarity of the LED?

Just picked up a 05 4Runner that had its wiring harness replaced due to rodents. Some of the dash gauge lights are out and some other switch lights don’t illuminate as well. I’m not sure what’s supposed to light up and what doesn’t. Could someone share a video or photos of all the interiors lights and switches that are supposed to illuminate. Thank you!

Dimmer Control Switch

Isn't that one of the functions of the interior dimmer control switch? It controls the brightness of the instrument cluster panel AND if you scroll all the way up to hear an audible click this SHOULD turn on the entire interior lights. Just like any other mainstream car. Even the cheap ones. I understand all you have to do is reach back and slide that switch from the right side of your head. That shouldn't be the case.

I mean, if they install this switch control, why wouldn't you make it so that it actually functions? I have been beating my head about this. I have checked fuses, changed out the dimmer control switch, and still nothing. For almost $40K, they should make that fricken switch operational, just saying.

2007 T4R Climate Control Backlights - Specifics?

I am attempting to specifically identify LED replacements & sources to replace the OEM incandescent bulbs in the climate control panel in a 2007 Toyota 4Runner SR5. Attached photo reflects those OEM bulbs and bulb numbers.

I have seen in other posts that 5630(t4), 5630(t3), and 5628(t3) will work But specifics are lacking regarding which of these bulbs replace which OEM bulbs.

Also, of the bulb numbers above, I see no information in other posts about the varying height/length of the bulbs (in other words, I need specific order numbers and sources).

Finally, I have scoured internet sources and the 5628 is not to be found anywhere. Can someone identify where the 5628 can be purchased? Or is it supposed to be 3528 instead?

I just need very specific LED identities and sources for each of the bulbs in the climate control panel:

90010-09016
90010-09017
90010-09018
90010-09019

Can someone assist with this detail? Much thanks!
