Interior rear window up/down no longer works

The dashboard button for rolling the rear window up and down no longer works (the one next to the climate controls). The window works fine via the keyfob and the rear door lock, but not from the interior switch.

Any ideas? Hoping it's just a fuse or something simple...

sounds goofy i know, but is your window lock button on???

I thought this was odd, but....
My rear window did not work right for a few hours after the dealership replaced my dash. Almost like it had to re-program itself.

I agree with HiVel-JR. All the auto functions on mine don't seem to work right after the batt has been disconnected and then reconnected. Takes the cpu a min to figure itself out?

In operating the rear power window from inside (using the switch on the instrument panel), if you push in the window lock switch on the driver’s door, the back window cannot be operated.

Maybe you hit the lock button by accident?

Um....let's all just pretend this conversation never took place, shall we?

So, where is window relay?

I did the same "stupid human trick" with the window lock-out button. Took me 10 minutes to discover what I had done ("come on, Ken, it has to be something simple"). Along the way, however, I checked the fuse/relay boxes under the hood and under the dash looking for the window relay. The legend on the inside of each of the covers is not clear. Searched 4Runner forum with no luck, but came across this thread.

Any idea where one finds the power window relay on 4th gens? Thx. - Ken
