Introduction and question

This is my first post on this forum. I've been on here since before I got my 4runner. But I mostly just read and try to avoid asking stupid questions.

In November 2014, I traded my 08 Tundra DC Limited in on my 2015 Magnetic Grey TEP w/KDSS. While I do miss the 5.7's power, I definitely don't miss the gas mileage. I love the TEP, it seems to be the perfect vehicle for me at this time.

Now on to my possibly stupid question. My TEP seems a lot lower in the front than other 4runners. I haven't gotten out and measured another one. But just sitting in traffic and in parking lots, it seems every other 5th gen I've seen is taller in the front than mine. I'm looking at the gap between fender and tire as well as the actual height of the hood. These are mostly SR5s. I know they're not all lifted. That being said, I parked next to a friend's 14 Limited and mine is noticeably taller in the rear. Another friend even asked if my truck was 2wd because of the rake. Is this normal for a TEP? Or does the KDSS give it more rake somehow? I've attached a pic for reference.

I apologize if this has been covered. I searched! Thanks.

I have a non-KDSS '14 TEP, and it has a similar rake as yours.

Nice color choice, BTW!

Give yourself a faux lift. aka take off the step. It looks higher, and you'll ditch them for sliders anyway. Give yourself that sporty look and throw those puppies away.

x2 we have the same truck and im still on stock suspension if you want to take a look in my album. Its amazing the visual difference removing the running boards make.

That does look a lot better! Thanks for the suggestion guys. They're really only good for collecting dirt and snow anyway. I might just do that. I just hope my girlfriend will still be able to get in after I lift it. She's not very tall... Haha
