It's not a 4Runner problem per se.That's just the way bluetooth is. You can only communicate with one thing at a time.

My wife has a blackberry storm2 that she listens to the music over bluetooth. When she gets a call it stops and she can talk over the sound system. Only problem we have is it takes about 10 sec after the call ends until the music starts again. Maybe its a setting in the phone?

I stream music using the Bluetooth. When the iPhone rings it pauses the music and I answer the call. Call finishes and music starts back up

All systems appear to work normal.

With the iPhone, can u stream pandora too or just what's on the hard drive?

I just tried using Pandora over iPhone bluetooth and it streams fine--once I got it going. In order to get the streaming to work, I have to select AUX on the stereo which defaults to Streaming Audio (with Bluetooth connected) which then automatically starts playing the iPod on iPhone. I then stop the iPod and start Pandora. On the other hand, if I am listening to the radio on the stereo, for instance, and start my iPod first, when Streaming Audio starts, it does not play--it just says "Pause," and I cannot un-pause it. I have to stop the iPod, go back to radio on the stereo, and then select Aux to get the freaking thing to work.
