Is $600 a good price for a set of Trail Rims off a 2018

Been looking for these for a couple weeks. Found a set of TRD Trail rims locally on craigslist. Guy says they only have 200 miles on them and I'm not sure if they have the TPMS sensors, but he's asking $600. Figured I'd offer $500. Is that a reasonable deal?

I traded my brand new tires with Trail rims in on a set of TRD rims and BFGs for $600 back in 2016. I probably could have got more for them locally but the tax savings and convenience factor were in play.

Seems high. You shouldn't be paying more than $400 for stock wheels. I can probably get a set of 4 for $350-$400 in my area.

I like the look of the new Trail/OR wheels, but they should go for $400 or so if you can wait and if you're not in a geographically/population restricted area.

I was thinking the same... seems high.

I got a set of stock 17" FJ rims for $300, and that included a matching spare, 5 rims total.

For the less desirable Toyota wheels, I usually find them for $25 - $50 each

I have a set off my SR5 , 16" with working TPMS ill happily let go for $200

I can understand paying more if you are absolutely in love the the design, or if it's a harder to find/rare rim, there really isn't much reason to pay more.

Once you get to the $400 price point, you can pretty much just start looking at brand new aftermarket rims. At least then you can specify the offset and backspacing for a really nice custom fit.

I recently paid $250 for a set of 17's. They seem to be pretty common around here from people who got them extra with their TRD Pro package.

In my area the older silver trail wheels $400ish. The 17/18 trail wheels with black accents $450 and a little more desireable. Doubtful they include sensors, plus you’d have to get the individual sensor numbers and reprogram your 4R at dealer. Keep your original sensors. If you happen to get theirs, put em on eBay.

I got mine locally for $480 if I remember correctly.
18' OR takeoffs with about 25 miles but no sensors.

Here in southern California on Craigslist a set of 4 unused rims will run from $350 to $450 without TPMS or tires

Removed with less than 50 miles, includes lug nuts and caps, no TPMS senors. Located Orange County ca $250

Between 50 and 125 a piece seems to be the going rate for take-offs, at least for as long as I have been keeping on eye on them, the last 5 years.

Long story short, considering what my dealership gave me on trade for TRD wheels when I bought my wagon, if they're "new" and you can get them for $500, that's a fine deal. Would have kept mine if they weren't brushed, shiny aluminum, the cosmetics bugged me but absolutely love the SR5 wheel design.

Here in Denver, I bought a set of brand new take offs with the tires (<50 miles) and lugs for $700. Might have overpaid a bit, but I was looking for a while and they go fast for anything under $800 here with the tires still on. Felt like I got a deal for the wheels and brand new tires that were needed at the time anyway.

Of course I ended up blowing a sidewall and upgrading to KO2s within 6 months anyway...
