Is a 2001 SR5 4x4 w/150k miles worth $8k?

I saw a guy selling a 4Runner for $8k, is that a good deal?
Everyone brags about the Toy motors and how long they can last,
and how many miles they "put" on them, but would you guys actually go out
and "buy" one that already had 150k? 200k? miles?

Eh, depending on the cleanliness/condition of the car I would say it's an okay deal. I bought my 99 w/ 131k miles on it for 5.5k and I personally think that was an excellent deal, but I also bought it back when gas was $4 a gallon. I would keep looking.

I bought mine for $7500 with 160,000 miles. But that was about 4 years ago. It now has 222,000 miles and still going strong, and I havnt had to replace anything major. On denver craigslist there are people asking for over $10K with 150,000 or more miles.

Well, yea, but that 4Runner isn't even close to being stock, haha.
It has a suspension lift, custom bumpers, a winch, a locker with 4.56 gears, rock sliders and a custom engine.

Pretty nice.

Thats true. It is nice, but honestly it's been on craigslist for months now and he hasnt been able to sell it. Hell if i could get $10K for my runner I'd sell it for sure. lol. Anyone interested?

I'm just posting these to show how crazy some people are. I think $8K is reasonable for a 00-02 with milage from 100-150K. As long as it has everything you want.
