Bottom line is you will be fine on slick roads in 4WD unless you have lost your common sense gene.

Sorry it's hard to take the OP who's been a member since 2011 that serious with this question. Especially when they have admitted they have already read other threads on the topic, knowing they have been covered a lot and you probably posted in them and there is a great link in your sig about how 4wd works. Just sayin'
