Is it time for a new Nav disc?

I've got a 2010 Trail with the original nav disc in it. Is it time to upgrade? Has anybody bought a newer disc, and is it worth the ~$100 to get it?

i found the 2011 disc online (shhh ) and cant tell a difference!

Is the disc actually in the drive? :shrug:

I don't get it, you can buy a TomTom for $100 and get free map updates about every month for life for FREE! You buy a Toyota for many thousands of dollars and they want the same money you paid for the TomTom to update your maps. :wtf:

I just want one that includes Alaska. You know, that state that all the companies forget about? At least in my Mazdaspeed3 I could take the SD card and upload my own maps...
