Is my gate/hatch key housing broken?

Like the title says...Is my gate/hatch key housing broken? The window rolls up and down just fine via the console switch but nothing moves when I attempt to use the key nor does the key even turn. I did notice some excessive play evident in the video. Do all of the locks on these vehicles take the same key? I just bought the vehicle and always thought the power rear window was awesome on these things so I have to get it fixed. Please help, my mastiffs will thank you!

I'm going through a similar problem right now. Just because it's wiggling back and forth doesn't necessarly mean it's the lock...it could be the bracket that holds it. Mine has always had a stick opening lever, but on the trip I took this weekend the end of my sleeping bag got caught in there and it's given out completely. :frusty:

I'm going to pop open the plastic panel (try to anyhow) and try to snap some photos to post on here. Hopefully seeing how it works inside will give both of us an idea of what's messed up.

So I just finished de-gunking my hatch and it seems to be functioning properly now. Here's a photo I took. You can see a circular protrusion on the right hand side. I believe this is the lock...open your panel up and see if this is being held in properly.
