Is the 96 gas tank the same as the diesel tank?

I have someone in Australia asking if my replacement gas tank skidplate Lil' Skip's Offroad | Fabricating parts for the offroad enthusiast will fit his 96 Diesel Hilux Surf fuel tank.

I'm not sure where I can find the part numbers for the two vehicles.

Anyone know for sure that the two tanks are or are not the same?

I know for sure the pick up truck 89-95 and hilux (LN 106, LN 107 and LN 109) made between 89-96 have identical gas/diesel tanks.

Do you know the side of the diesel tank in Australia?
