Is there an audible alarm on 07 T4R V-6 related to driving over a curb? I was easing across a curb towing a small boat and what sounded like an audible alarm sounded. Learning the features of a different truck after driving my last 15 yrs is painful. I’ll challenge using the radio soon, since the 12-24-11 purchase. LOL! Thanks for any help. jow

There's a "beep" indicator when the stability control system kicks in. Maybe you were at an angle when you went over the curb...

if the truck sensed any wheel slip it will let you know about it. i drive over a pretty "aggressive" trench every morning. if i hit it just right, i'll get the beep. you will usually see an orange/yellow light flash at you as well that looks like a winding road sign.

Oops! I failed to mention the T4R is 2-wheel drive.

1. Will the stability control system apply to 2WD models?

2. I did ease over the curb at an angle as I feel is best.

3. I could not find related info in the owner’s manual.

If one of your drive wheels left the pavement at all it would have spun causing the alarm. The same goes for 2wd models.
