Seriously, every single one of them nowadays is chrome with a shiny front display, millions of tiny little buttons, one knob (instead of the proper two), and all kinds of ugly colored lights.
Does such a thing exists as an aftermarket stereo that is not chintzy? I just want something with two knobs and an aux input. The current stereo in my truck (crappy Alpine with blue lights and non-labeled tiny little buttons) is such an eyesore.
I'm actually considering ripping it out and putting a small amp in the dashboard to power the speakers then just putting a blanking plate in its place that has a power toggle and aux input so I can just have something that looks functional and will allow me to play music from my phone.
