Is this possible?

My friend who drives a Kia says his brother has a 06 v6 2wd 4runner. I asked what his gas mileage is on it and he said 21 city and 25 highway. I called bs and they kept calling ME uneducated. Am I wrong or what?

When I hit reset, pop it in N, and coast down a MTN; I get 86MPG according to my computer, so it must be correct. Right?

If you Hypermile. I tried it once on a trip and got near that with my 06 SR5 4WD. I hypermiled from Richmond to Raleigh NC once and ended up getting 28 highway according to the MPG readout. ON paper it was closer to 27. City hypermiling I got about 20. so I guess it is passable but it sucks to drive like that. I did it once when gas was 4 bucks a gal and it was to big a PITA. I would say normal driving without a care he is FOS

It is possible though. Between highway/city mixed I get 21.4 on the dash, but by hand its 20.5 MPG. On my trip back from Miami when I picked up my T4R I got 24.5 on lie-o-meter but averaged 22.9 MPG calc'd by hand..

He's NOT the problem...If you actually care what he thinks...then it's YOU who has the problem. Get over it and move on.
