is this the best forum for older 4runners

This forum is great, and there seem to be alot of informed people posting here. I was just wondering though, is there a better forum for older runner's(mines an 88). it just seems that most people have 2000's or newer, and I feel a little behind the times with nothing to talk about. I know it is somewhat rude to ask about other forums, but if someone knows of a place to talk about older trucks(even if its not 4runners ) i would appreciate it.

There are probably more 1st gen owners on places like yotatech and 4x4wire. I'm not sure but I think Thai prefers to not have seperate sub-forums for each generation. However, I went ahead and started a new "Old Timers" sub-forum for 1st gen owners as an experiment to see how it goes

One of the oldest and biggest forum for 4Runners is 4X4 wire. I think they have a lot of older 4Runners.

A newer group formed off of them in which the person running it has a 2nd generation. They are called YotaTech.

Then of course their is this forum, we have some 1st and 2nd generations, but not as many as the first two. My hope is that you visit all three and use the forum best for you. For right now none of the forums divide up in years, maybe in the future we may divide up the forums, I know their has been some talk about it.

I usually post on Yotatech. That is a very good forum for older runners. They are a great bunch of guys and wont flame you like some of these boards around.

Actually I think he is talking about some of the other hard core boards. In some of the off roading boards you may ask a simple and get slammed.

Wow, I am blown away with your list. I looked at some of those on the list, some are quite small. Great find.

(I have visited Nova Scotia quite a few times and think it is a wonderful place. I am a knife collector and did you know some of the best knives in the world are made in Nova Scotia?)

Krash, I am prettysure 4x4wire has TONS of threads on your year. I also found yotatech with Gazzilions of messages bout 3rd gens (me). I would spend days reading messages there.
This groups is good but I do notice that most are the newer 4th gens with a good amount of 3rd gens. I will stay on this group until I no longer see messages that has to do with my year.
