you can get a body lift to move it up and away. Or you can sell me some broken sliders since you live in OC too. haha
Here is a picture of the rear door hitting the slider. This is with the slider position all the way down as far as it can go. In the pic I cannot even fully open the door. :frusty:
I'm at a point now that I am going to package these up and request my money back and buy Shrockworks or Budbuilt sliders.

neither of you should have sliders hitting your doors.
Im sure RCI did not intend this, and will correct the issue. Give them a chance. But be sure to update your thread with the results. Inquiring minds would like to know, and it may help you help them to stay honest
Yes I believe these were built for a 4runner with a body lift. I do not have a body lift and it is a problem. I am not going to do a body lift just so I can make the sliders work as they should...

Edit: had a few last night and realize that you're hitting in the back nearly same as I am just the other side.

It's very obvious, especially with the kickout, which way they go on.

Any update on these fitment issues of RCI Sliders on 06-09 4th Gens? I am shopping sliders (bolt-ons for now) and do not have a body lift on my 07. Much appreciated.

Thanks for the update from those of you who have their sliders. I have emailed RCI about the issue as well. I will share their response here once I receive it.
Would have been nice if they had acknowledged the problem at some point publicly.Got the following from Josh at RCI this evening:
"Thanks for the email and great question. Yes, we brought a 4runner back in house and made the necessary adjustments. Now they fit perfectly.
Let me know if I can help answer any more questions!
Thanks,
Josh"
So, it sounds like the design for 4th Gens has been updated to accommodate the 06-09 differences at some point.
