I bought this seal to make them more water and dust resistant. Makes the lid a bit of a tight fit but worth it for my needs.

Clevermade folding totes are exactly the same width, so these can be matched together with the medium plano totes.

Also, the IKEA Baggmuck shoe tray fits exactly on the lid of a tote, so I have one of these to keep the tent shoe-free.

At their base, there's about 1/2" of space on either side when perfectly centered -- so if you wanted to build some kind of platform, you could still use 1/2" walls at the base of the cases.

Update: Of note, the large versions won't fit 3 as they are each several inches wider. The small versions are 3/4" wider than the mediums, so I don't think they will fit 3 across.

Nice! Do they lock together fairly well when stacked, as far as sliding around?

Tbh, I'm not a fan of the Wolf Pack. It's built great, but it's just too small. I understand their marketing states it's deliberately small so you can separate things into smaller, more carry-able groups, but it's still too small for me compared to a 1719. It's a lot smaller than a 1919.

I agree, a bit too small, but I'm guessing maybe the Wolfpacks are meant for a roof rack, not too tall so they cut down on wind resistance, and you can't heft them on the roof if they're too full of stuff?

Same thought. I’d hate have to get the boxes up or down off my roof rack, especially at my age. Plus it would be a pain and a half if you were moving camp everyday.

Although I bought LFD roof rack, it’s empty for that reason. Awaiting a good deal on a slim rifle type case to keep stuff I won’t need often. Harbor Freight Apache rifle case is what I’m eyeing.

i use our apache case for the same thing, spare parts i HOPE to not ever need while on a trip....cv axle, tie rod ends, spare shock and coilover. used some 1/4 carriage bolts and bolted it to the cross bars of the prinsu rack. remove and use as a rifle case when not on the roof rack

I initially bought three of these Plano cases to pack three across. But I wind up putting them in an upside down U shape and wedge my water jug and propane tank (20 lb) in between.
