Its Official - 15 Trail Premium is home!

Last night I'm happy to say I picked up my 2015 Trail premium brand new from local dealer. Got what I wanted although no KDSS but im easy going. White with black interior is amazing. I LOVED my 3rd gen to death but just one drive home in this new one and I sadly love this one more. Long story short I am happy and its time for some opinions on my lift plans. Primary use for this will be short trips to work. Hoping some good road trips so I do want it as perfect as possible on highway. The hook is I can't leave anything alone, I like things being balanced and ready to go for any obstacle. I am hesitant on wheeling to much big stuff as it is brand new, however, I bought it to enjoy it and use it so won't be long until I do.

Lift option and wheel ideas as I see it

1. 5100's with all stock coils. 1.75" front. Cornfed 1" rear. Keep stock wheels or go to nicer aftermarket wheel with 275's. I am sure minor trim and pulling of fender needed. In long run I really would like to keep my factory splash guards after removing steps

2. 5100/toytec kit with diff drop. Add LR UCA's so I can get caster 4* to keep highway smooth and planted. But go for 285's as I know the truck will look best. KMC Enduro or ATX Mojave wheels. Trim and pull back whats needed for rubbing

3. Stage 1 Icon kit. I always loved Icon suspension having a few sets in my F250 over past years. BUt is it needed for price jump in long term reliability. I want to set and forget once its in and aligned. I know there product is a great thing. I also know it will be years until I get my runner into a spot calling for rear locker alone. Being I wheel years without one on my 3rd Gen.
Again with 285's and wheels.

I am all for doing it once and right, but don't need to break the bank after just buying if I know im going to hardly test its capabilities weekly. I would like 285's. Everything I ever do mild or mid way, I end up changing and doing what I wanted after so that is why I am tempted for going full lift and UCA's. However I am sure looks handling and BRAKE DIVE will be better with good tires on stock wheels and a mild lift. Keeping great for highway trips and camping.

Thanks for reading! Hope to get some more direct answers being I have searched this to death

Check out Sonoran Steel, Sonoran Steel Custom Metal Fabrication L.L.C. Custom Toyota Truck Parts. They use a lot of OEM style components which will have excellent reliability in the long run. That's personally what I'll be going with. I'm not a fan of the adjustable coil-over style like Icon or Toytec, I've dealt with similar in the past, and the shocks seem to need more maintenance than something like a Bilstein 5100. To each their own though. If you're okay with the increased maintenance, maybe the vehicle isn't a daily driver, then the higher performance style that Icon offers may be exactly what you're looking for.
