The other day I noticed that there wasn't really much protection to the lower portion of my radiator. So.. I fabbed this skid up. It's 3/16" thick aluminum with 1.5" dimple dyed holes. I really liked the new look so I thought I'd post Enjoy.

looks great! i started something like this a while back but somehow cut too much off and ended up short with the steel. Post up some of yoru how to's and measurements if you don't mind sharing the good's.

Nope.. It's bolted strait to the bumper support. Very stong.

Probably around $50 for one just like it, or if you'd prefer it be done differently, I could fab one up however you'd like. The price would go down if there were to be fewer dimple dyed holes being that they are very time consuming..

It looks great. I think any member fabbed something similar as well.

I'd be interested in it. Any chance it could be a little wider, so the edges are closer to the tie-down loops for a little more protection for the radiator?

Yes, I could definately make one a bit wider. I designed mine the way it is because I was going for more of a baja look.
