Finally got around to installing a new headunit and finished up on the led lights!! All I can say is it was worth it but I will NEVER attempt the HVAC unit lights again!! The new led bulbs had a fitment issue from where the wires was actually soldered, just enough to make life miserable!! One I actually got lucky with but the others I had to pull the actual light from the base and feed the wires through the circuit board and reattach them to the base on the back of the board if that makes any sense lol!! The one for the blower motor was the ***** of the bunch since there is just enough room to fit the bulb between the circuit board and the back of the unit and then add trying to line up the two wires to fit back into the base fun fun!!! But anyhow on to the pics!!

All LED'ed out!!!!!

It was an arts and craft style paint pen. You can get them at Wal-Mart.

Oh I had tried some transparent craft paint but I could never get them to actually glow or light up at all. Anything special you did to the needle?

Hey sorry about the late response. What you do is first scrape all the old paint off then paint a thin layer only on the back side. That should fix the problem.

Ok thanks. That's what I was doing. Maybe it was just the paint I was using. I'll try the pen thing you used.

Projector retrofit goodness!!!! Also I tinted my fog lights yellow!! I used the Duplicolor Metal Cast yellow paint turned out amazing!!
