Yea it is! I was out in Yosemite this weekend and just happened to stumble upon all the trails out there! I was on a few that were really awesome and took you wayyyy off the beaten path. Definitely want to return soon.

Thanks! It was, I miss the exploring mindset and the ability to just travel. Hopefully I'll have more opportunities to make big trips like this in the future. And I wish I took more pictures of the truck!

I realized that I haven't been around here for a little while, so I figured I should swing by and post up a few pictures! Hope everything is well with all you guys! I've been pretty busy settling into the bay area and my new job after my move a few months back, but I'm finally getting some time to go exploring!

First things first, the cross country road trip was amazing. We did a 3.5 week trip with route that looked something like this:

Highlights: Aspen, Arches, Yellowstone, Glacier, Jasper, Banff, Olympic, Portland, Mendocino.

Since the move, I'm living in the city and missing my garage, and just space in general, so I haven't had much time to work on the truck. Before I left I made a bunch of small miscellaneous changes that you may notice in the images below. These included:

• 4 USB ports installed in the center console
• Blacked out door handles with vinyl
• Blacked out rear garnish and color matched the logo and text to Toyota Blizzard Pearl (3 coats, what a pain)
• Fitted full size spare in stock location
• Installed Biometric handgun safe under drivers seat (THIS one - it's awesome, fits perfectly under the seat and the fingerprint recognition is great and super fast.
• I was running out of time so I took the truck to High Tech and had them install the full BudBuilt skid set, and icon LCA skids, as well as to give it a full once over. Scott and the crew did a great job as usual and the only problem I've had after beating the truck up for six thousand miles is a nail in the tire and a dented skid plate.

The rack coming in handy in Yellowstone. A quick exit through the sunroof can yield some fun pictures...

I just breached 50k a few weeks ago and everything continues to run perfectly. Unfortunately, these days the truck spends most of its life garaged until I get a free weekend to go exploring. But hopefully that will change soon and I'll have the time to spend more time on it!

I've always been on the fence about how to arrange my storage in the rear. Drawers are nice but I've never seen a setup that looked factory enough to motivate me to get them. Plus I kind of boxed myself in with my rear switch panel.

So I decided to go with something a bit more modular. I got three of these: North Face Base Camp Duffel. One small, one medium, and one large to hold all my gear. They are super high quality, and really hold a ton.
