I searched through at least 7 pages of audio/electronics and I didnt find anything like this situation. I have an 03 limited v8 4x4 with the 10 speaker JBL synthesized 6disc changer. I love everything about it except the no mp3/wma playback. I think the stock unit with wma/mp3 came out in the 06 and was wondering what unit I would need to get to have it be a swap in and out unit. I would like to not lose any of the functions if possible. Also I have heard that people have had to change the surrounding trim and a/c read out stuff. I think that this would not apply to me, only if I was going from a single disc to mutiple but I want to make sure. Thanks for the info, and I love this site and the 4runner that I just got. It has high miles, but it drives and feels just like a brand new one i just drove a couple weeks ago.
