Nice pics!

What size is the Autohome Columbus Variant? Did you get the extra long version?

Any pictures of just the rack without the RTT?

Just put on brand new FN Five Star 17-inch wheels in black with brand new Hankook DynaPro M/T 285/70 tires. I moved 2 of my old tires (same Hankook M/Ts) and Mickey Thompson rims to my new XVenture trailer.

Ha! I took them off so Discount Tire could mount the new tires. Last time DT re-installed the rings, they stripped threads on a mounting screw. So now I remove/re-install the rings myself.

Yesss ! The wheels look sick! How do you like them and did the fit work out for you or did you end up running the spidertrax? Is that the same tire size you were running before? They look a little smaller or it could just be with the new wheels that's throwing me off. It's hard to tell from the pictures and the angle but they look pretty similar stance wise to your old set up.

Aww man and that trailer is ridiculous, so nice! I think it's the perfect size for our rigs. Great article and pics in the last issue by the way, i'm looking forward to the write up on that trailer coming up!

I usually remove the rings myself, but didn't have time. BTW...Mickey T stopped making replacement rings...grrr!

Thanks! Waiting on rack rails for the trailer, then I'll mount my rooftop tent.

Rims are great. I will probably do SpiderTrax in the future. The FN rims are not as wide as the Mickey Ts, and backspace is just a tad less deep than Mickey Ts.

Yes, those are same size tires (285/70-17).

Awesome that's going to be a sweet set up!

That will look even better with them poked out a little more! I've contemplated this off and on since i got mine? They look great not but of course they would like nicer with that little bit more of an aggressive stance the spidertrax would give them!

What happened to your Autohome? Will it be ontop of the trailer now?

How do you like the Autohome Columbus?

I am almost going to pull the trigger on a Autohome Extreme in a small or medium.

RCI Metalworks improved on their original front skid design. So I replaced my original aluminum RCI fr skid with their new design, and added the transfer case skid, transmission skid, and lower control arm skids...all bare aluminum.

I'll take photos of them in daylight while at Jamboree and post up the pics this weekend.

Those aluminum ones are purdy  kinda cool that you don't have to mess around with painting them as well! If i didn't like play in the rocks so much i would probably run all aluminum skids..

Also i'm going to shoot you a email about this run coming up in a couple weeks, with some ideas i have/wanted to run by you..

Installed new RCI skids...got the bare aluminum:

May 28, 2013: Mounted Hella 4" Optilux HID lights on the roof rack. The main screws on each light were too long, so had to cut them down. I have not yet ran the wiring. I am trying to get brave enough to do a grommet through the sunroof rubber seal. The alternative is to run heavier gauge wire all the way to the rear and come through the tailgate.

I'm looking for this exact roof rack for my 05. What brand is it, if I may ask... And where did you get it?
