Hello from Arkansas...

Recently parted with 2 awesome Jeeps. I had an '05 Rubicon and my wife had an '07 4 Door Unlimited....both lifted and wheeled. The poor Rubicon sat too much in the garage since moving to Arkansas from Amarillo, TX. Didn't expect both of them to go the same day, but they did. As we were once a Toyota Family exclusively we did a quick look and found an '05 4Runner Sport V8 4x4. Happy to be on board and looking forward to the mods. No huge plans quickly other than to research and do it right the first time.

I gotta tell you...I love those Jeeps. I do not like any other Jeep but the Wranglers and especially the Rubicon....nice!

4Runner is much more comfortable than the 4Door Jeep. I'll always miss the rock crawling tho.

Your 4Runner is plenty capable, just not like your Rubi was lol.

Thanks a lot....Yeah, the last wheeling trip I took to Clayton that Rubicon took me through stuff that I was just floored by. I'm truly amazed at their capabilities when built correctly. It was always cool having a rig that I could drive 75mph to the trail, air down to 10psi, wheel with the big boys, air up, help them load back on their trailers, and then drive home at the same speeds. I will miss it, but I think the next step was to go bigger which meant dropping a lot of cash. Whew.

With that, the research on the 4Runner build will be thorough and hopefully the plans will be successful the first time implemented. I'm sure these babies can be built to go many places....just have to restrain myself from trying to do too much.
